A different kind of autism support

Most autism services are built around someone else doing the work with your child. This isn't that. The PLAY Project is built around you — the parent — because you're already with your child for thousands of hours that no clinician will ever see.

I come to your home or meet you over video, watch the two of you play, and coach you in the moments that matter: how to follow your child's lead, read their cues, and turn a single shared glance into real back-and-forth connection. Between sessions, we review short video clips together so you can see what's working and refine it in real time.

This isn't about teaching your child to match shapes, repeat scripted words, or perform on demand. It's about meeting your child exactly where they are on their developmental ladder — emotionally, sensorily, developmentally — and filling those cups first. When a child feels regulated, met, and understood, joyful moments emerge naturally. Those moments are the work. Emotional and sensory regulation is the precondition for connection. Joyful shared moments are the mechanism of development. And you — the parent — are the engine. That's how the drive to connect grows, how communication builds, and how your child learns that reaching toward you feels good.

The PLAY Project is an evidence-based, child-led parent coaching model developed by Dr. Richard Solomon and supported by NIH-funded research.
